I would like to know that how many
percentage should I get to pass in
9th standard in ICSE Board?

Q : Minimum percentage required to qualify in 9th ICSE?

• The minimum percentage to pass in 9th standard is 40%.
• you must have to score atleast 35% marks in every subject.
• You should not fail in any of the compulsory subjects.
• Candidate must not fail in more than 1 optional subjects.

*Passing standard may vary from school to school as ICSE board doesn't directly conduct the exam in 9th standard.

Generally the ICSE 9th standard pass marks vary from one school to another school, because 9th standard exams are not conducted by ICSE board. But, at most of the schools, candidates who have secured minimum 35 marks in each and every subject of his/her 9th standard, are considered as qualified students.

For your kind information i want to tell you that ICSE does not conduct the 9th standard exam directly. 9th standard exam is conducted by the different schools under ICSE. So the passing marks may vary from school to school. But i think the minimum passing marks in any of the school under ICSE will be 35 percent. It simply means that you must have to score at least 35 percent marks in each subject to get qualified in that class.

There is no minimum percentage required to pass in 9 standard , you just have to pass in all subjects
If you fails in any one subject then clear it in reappear exam or you will be promoted in 10 class

The minimum percentage required to qualify in 9th ICSE is 34%.
And minimum 25% marks in every subject.
But one thing is that you must score good marks in class 9th to increase your confidence for your 10th board exam.

If any student fails in one or two subjects in class 9 final term then will he be promoted?

If I fail in all the subjects but my percentage is 35% will I be allowed to declare pass

If a student fails by 3% out of 40%in indivual subject and 1% by overall out of 40%. Whether he will be allowed to promote in class 10.

I have scored in first term in english literature 100 out of 15 and second term 100 out of 29 and in english language first term I scored 100 out of 33 and second term 100 out of 33 so according to you can I pass 9th class
