From admission point of view there are basically three types of courses at AMU (Aligarh Muslim University).
T - Test Course (Admission through Admission Test)
D - Departmental Test Course (Admission through Test conducted by the department)
N - Non-Test Course (Admission based on merit in qualifying Exam)

Apart from above mentioned courses Senior Sr. Secondary School Certificate course in Science, Commerce and Humanities too is conducted by the university.
