Yes, of course you are definitely eligible to apply for CA after completing 12th standard. Any stream candidates are eligible to apply for CA Foundation.

The basic eligibility for becoming a Chartered accountant is a pass in 12th standard in any discipline from a recognised board.

Three stages during Chartered Accountancy course,

- Foundation course
- Intermediate
- Final CA course

Those candidates who have completed their Bachelor degree/Master degree can directly enroll for CA Intermediate course.

In order to become a Chartered Accountant first you should register with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT). You should register before 60 days prior to appearing for the exam. Candidates can enrol for CPT after passing the class 10 exam itself. On passing the 12th standard board exam or equivalent examination, candidates are eligible to appear in the CPT exam.

For this you need to apply for CA CPT.
Common proficiency test is conduct by the chartard accounts institute of india twice in a year i.e once in 6 months

Eligibility for CA CPT:-
-candidate need to pass 10+2 or 10+2+3 .
-the candidate age would be 17 years for 10+2 ,and 20 years for graduate student.
-how to apply:-
a) offline mode:- need to pay Rs 1000/-
b) online mode:- fee would be Rs 500/-

Syllabus for CA CPT :-

Syllabus for CA CPT ,question would come from 10+2 and 10+2+3 in commerce subjects.
Questions would be multiple choice question.

CA is abbreviated form of Chartered accountants. It has for basic phase that almost everybody has to go through to become CA.
1). CPT
2). IPCC
3). 3Year article ship
4). CA Final exam.
~For CPT 10+2 qualification is needed.
~Integrated Professional Competence Examination candidate has to qualify in cpt.
~Graduate / post graduates in commerce with 55%, other graduates or post graduates with 60% can also apply.

Definitely you can appear for C.A ( chartered accountant) after passed your 12tg standard with commerce stream..
Now you can give C.A. entrance exam
C.A. (foundation) (CPT)
C.A ( Intermediate) ( IPCC)
C.A. Final.
After graduation you can skip C.A. foundation ( entrance exam) and get direct admission C.A. INTERMEDIATE.
