Sir, this year I have secured 48% marks in 12th CBSE. Then I have applied for Improvement exam. I have also applied for JEE Main. Now again I want to apply for JEE Main. But I want to know that what limit of attempting I have remain for JEE Main?

You had to appear in JEE MAIN in 3 years back to back. For example, if you had appeared in JEE MAIN in 2018 but not in 2019 and choose to appear in 2020 then it would be counted as 3 attempts. You cannot drop a year.

From 2019 onward you can appear twice a year, which means you get a 6 attempts.

You can appear for 3 times only for JEE Main and Advanced

It doesn't matter whether you appear for improvement exam or not, you will get only 3 attempts until your age permits. Hence, make sure you are well prepared for the exam and utilise the attempts properly.

The maximum number of attempts allowed for JEE Main is three successive attempts including the one in which the candidate cleared his/her actual Class 12th board examination.

So, having appeared in JEE Main last year along with your Class 12th board examination, you are eligible for appearing in JEE Main for two times more but in successive years only.
