Hi I am Bhupendra my question is my date of birth is 5-09-2007 and i am in 8 class so can i take admission in 9 class?

As per rules, the age limit is 10 years but less than 12 years for Class VI, completed 11 years but less than 13 for Class VII, completed the age of 12 years but less than 14 years for Class VIII and in Class IX, a student has to be less than 15 years but should have completed 13 years.

The minimum age of the candidate should be 14 years to get eligible for admission in class 9.

For admission in class 9 the candidate must be between 14 to 15 yrs.
Thus according to your DOB , you can easily take admission in class 9.
Most of the schools admit students on the basis of entrance exam as well as they also keep into account the marks of student in its previous class.

The minimum age required for the candidate to get admission in 9th standard CBSE school is 13 years 6 months as on 31st March of of the year of admission.

So, your son is eligible to get admission in 9th standard under CBSE school.

So, if your son has a attained the age of 13 years 6 months, you can take admission for him in CBSE Board School. You need to obtain Transfer Certificate, Bonafide Certificate etc, from your old school and submit it in the new school where you wish to take admission for him for pursuing 9th standard.

The minimum age required for CBSE 10th board is a student must have completed 14.5 years as of 31st March of the academic year so for class 9th it is one year less which is 13.5 years. At the time of admission, a student must have completed at least 13 years.
