AIPMT is an entrance test which is conducted for selection of candidates for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana. Candidates who have completed their 12th standard or equiavlent with an aggregate of 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Bio-Technology) subjects and who have passed English in their Qualifying Examination from any recognised Board are eligible to appear in AIPMT examination.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts allowed to appear in AIPMT examination. You can appear in AIPMT examination as many times as you wish by satisfying the required eligibility criteria.

AIPMT stands for All India Pre Medical Test. This examination is conducted by CBSE every year.

Candidate who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

There is no limitation to apply for AIPMT exam.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years.
