my son has got 7.6cgpa in tenth and also he in wants to take pcm so tell me that is he eligible to take pcm stream which such cgpa marks?

Yes, definitely he is eligible to get admission in PCM course of 11th standard after securing 7.6 CGPA in tenth standard. No percentage criteria is required to get admission in 11th standard. Candidates who have qualified tenth standard in all subjects are eligible to get admission in 11th standard of any stream in which they are interested. After completion of 11th and 12th standard with PCM, he can pursue engineering course by appearing for entrance examination.

You must've the CGPA above 9.4 in 10th board to get admission with science stream in a good school.
And to get the CGPA above 9.4 you've to prepare for examination according to the prescribed syllabus of CBSE which gotta the better syllabus in our country instead of any other state board.you must've to maintain the schedule of school,submit your projects regularly etc..
It may also help you in standard 11 and 12 mostly for better results,the reason behind it is the syllabus of standard 12 is according to the syllabus of 10.Therefore if your 10th result will better then will be easier for you to understand class 10th related stuffs..

7.6 CGPA is not a good score in 10th standard .
With this grade it will b difficult to get admission in 11th standard in science stream in the top schools.
It may be possible that some school will provide admission to students with this grade but not all school is going to provide admission.
Also, admission in any school depends upon the number of students applied for admission and what are their scores.
If the students having high grade applied then there will be no chance for student having 7.6 CGPA or less .
So, you should contact to school offices to confirm admission and also you should apply to two or more schools for admission so that if one refuses for admission then there will be other options available .

There is different rules from different boards schools. But I think if a syudent get good marks mainly get 8 cgpa then he will be able for 11th science stream .
and there are many top most schools which gave adfmission on the basis of 10th marks.

No you're not as for science at least you need above 9 to 10 cgpa but you're absolutely for for commerce its also a good option I got science at scoring 10 cgpa
