Sir, I have passed my 12th with ISC Board and scored 48% marks. I must have 50% marks in 12th to get a BTech admission. So, I am thinking of reappearing for the Board exam with the Kerala Board. Can I appear 12th again from Kerala Board and is it valid?

No, There is no need to reappear in 12th from Kerala Board to study BTech having secured 48% in 12th ISC.

To pursue BTech, You should score good marks in JEE Main.

If you could score good in JEE Main than you can get admission in any college.

According to the rules you won't be considered a valid student if you change your board after passing the examination
if you want to reappear and increase your marks in 12th standard then you must reappear with your ISC board
If you opt for a different board than you may have to repeat 11 and 12 and this may also not be valid for some colleges / school and even for some degree college
