Quote:
Step 1: Complete 5 years or 3 years LLB degree from a recognized university approved by the Bar Council of India. To get LLB admission you need to appear and qualify in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam. Step 2: After successful completion of the LLB degree course you are required to appear in various states' Judicial service examination conducted by the respective high court to become a civil judge or judicial magistrate. Step 3: You can also apply for the Higher Judicial services (HJS) exam after having not less than 7 years of experience. Those who qualify in the Higher Judicial Services (HJS) exam can be appointed as an Additional district judge (ADJ) and then promoted as a High court Judge before your retirement. |
