My son is studying in Sri Sri Academy in class 2nd and is brilliant in his studies. I want to get him admitted in St Xaviers School Kolkata. What is the procedure for it?

The admission procedure is quite simple, you need to first of all fill up the application form and submit it to the school authorities. If your application is selected, the child along with his parents will be called upon for an interview.

An entrance test will be conducted just to check the basic knowledge of the student followed by an interview session for both the candidate and their parents.

After having cleared the interview, if your child is selected, you will be intimated and if not, then you should probably try in some other school, or in the upcoming year.

St.Xavier's school is one of the most reputed schools in Kolkata. Though the admission procedure seems quite easy, but the competition level is very high.

Admissions for the session 2015-16 is closed now. It will open in March for the session 2016-17. Forms are no longer distributed manually, entire process is done online. All information regarding age, eligibility criteria, and other admission procedure will be provided with the form. Admission is taken in due process of interview of both the ward and her/his parents. They also consider the annual income of the child's parents, their qualifications etc.
