My son's DOB 16 may 19. Now he is studying lkg. If I changed cbsc school what is the age limit for lkg.

The age limit for LKG class:-

The minimum age required for the child to get admission in LKG in CBSE board school is 3 years 6months.
So, your son is not eligible to get admission in LKG in CBSE school.

The age limit for LKG class:-

In the CBSE schools general rule followed for admission in LKG is that the child should have attained the age of 3-1/2 years as on 1st June of the respective year. This rule is not very strict in the sense that the school administration can relax it do anything between 3 to 4 years.

The rules set the age for admission under RTE (Right To Education) to be between 3.5 years and 4.5 years for LKG classes in CBSE schools. The age limit for LKG in ICSE schools must be at least 3 years to 4 years to take admission. The minimum and maximum age limit for admission in any classes may vary from school to school and the rules and regulations can also be different for different states.

The age of the student should be between 3 years to 4 years to get admission in the LKG class.
