Please tell me the maximum age limit for admission in LKG class. Please confirm also whether the age determination date is 1 April Or 30 June.

Maximum and minimum age limit for LKG:-

For LKG admission, the age should be between 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months.

Maximum board such as CBSE, ICSE and other state boards follow this age criteria only.

Maximum Age Limit for admission in LKG class:-

Required age limit for getting admission in LKG is given below:-

Age limit for nursery is 2 years 6 months to 3 years 6 months.

Age limit for LKG is 3 years 6 month to 4 years 6 months.

Age limit for UKG is 4 years 6 months to 5 years 6 months.

The child should complete 3 years as of April 2021 for LKG admission, in general, the age should be in-between 3.6 to 4.6 years. The maximum age limit for admission is 5 years but it may vary from school to school and the rules and regulations can also be different for different states.

The maximum age limit for admission in the LKG class is 4 years 10 months as on 1st June of the respective year.

Maximum Age Limit for admission in LKG class:-

As per (CBSE), LKG — kid should completed 3years as on April 2021 For LKG admission of year 2021–2022 educational year.

In General, 3.6 to 4.6 years are eligible for LKG.
