My wife is a temporary school teacher in State Govt affiliate school in Maharastra. What is the Maximum age limit for her to be confirmed? Is any hope there as she is already 39 years? Can someone please get back to me soon? Thank you!

For government school teaching job, you need to have age between 20 to 35 years. There is age relaxation available for candidates who belong to any reserved category.

Hence, if you are 39 years old, then you need some age relaxation to get a permanent government school teaching job, which is possible, only when you belong to reserved category.

Maximum age limit for Government School Teacher:-

The maximum age limit is up to 35 years in government sector and for OBC 3 years age relaxation and for SC / ST 5 years relaxation.

You should process a graduation degree.

You need to appear for PGT exam in the choice of your subject.

Maximum age limit for government school teacher for job:-

The maximum age limit to apply for teacher job in a very from board to board. But generally 35 years is the maximum age limit.

So for OBC: 38 years

SC/ST: 40 years

Some boards may have different age limit.

But generally this is used by boards.
