8th October, 2012 West Bengal, health department said that from this year, wbjee board do not arranged any medical entrance exam. From this year the state medical entrance is organised by all India entrance exam board. According to to board 60% seat will collect for West Bengal students. For this the students, who will now read in class 12th and this year they will appeared for medical exam, they can also face the problem of vast syllabus. The exam will continue in english, but there religion languages (Bengali, Tamil, Oriya etc) are added.

No, WBJEE Medical examination is not replaced by AIPMT. WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering and Medical. The WBJEE examination will be conducted as usual irrespective of the AIPMT exam. The WBJEE has already issued a notification for the 2015 entrance examinations and the examination will be held on 18th April, 2015 and 19th April, 2015. To appear for the WBJEE Medical entrance examination, you must have completed your 12th standard or equivalent in Medical Stream from a recognised board.
