Dear Aspirant,

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI ), functioning under Deptartment of Personnel, Ministry of Personnel, Pension & Public Grievances, Government of India, is the premier investigating police agency in India.

This is the high rank police officer and has a great reputation in the police and also among the people of india.

Minimum Qualification required to join CBI:

Should be 12th Passed.

Jobs Offered for 12th Passed to join CBI :

Stenographer : 12th Passed with 80 word-Per-Min(wpm) speed in short hand and 40 wpm for typing.


Other Qualifications :

The citizen of india who comes under a limit of age instructed in the rules.And who is Sub Inspector, Engineers, Stenographer, Law Officer, Clerk and police can apply for the jobs in the CBI.

The Police officers can apply for the upgrade of their grade.

Presently the openings are available or not can be known when the official notifications are released.

To become an CBI officer you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams

This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.

Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014

Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> English Comprehension
>> General Awareness
>> Quantitative Aptitude
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning

Minimum height required for CBI post:
Male -165 cms
Female -150 cms

Chest-76 cms
