There is no age limit for CAT. Graduation from any of the recognized universities is the education qualification requirement. This qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 50% marks. Reserved category candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks. One can attempt CAT any number of times.

Educational qualification :-
-->>Your minimum educational qualification should be Graduation/Degree pass out in any stream.
-->>Your degree should be approved from the AICTE/UGC.

NOTE :- There is NO AGE LIMIT for appearing in this exam.

Marks :-
-->>If you will belong from General/OBC category then minimum marks required is 50% in Graduation.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST)

There is age limit for CAT entrance exam after graduation degree you can appear for CAT entrance exam.

If you want to appear for CAT Exam, then you have to passed your graduation with minimum 50% marks. This examination is a way to get admission or seat in top MBA B-Schools like IIM's.

There is no age restriction to apply for CAT Examination.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programes of its business schools (IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML and others).

This score is usefull to you getting admission in B.schools and IIMs

Any graduation with at least 55% marks from any recognised university.

There is no age limit for this exam.

And attempt limit also not there for this exam

Final years students also appear for it.

So if you have Graduation Degree then you can apply for CAT without worrying about the age criteria.

Examination Pattern:

CAT will be an Online Test and you have to answer all your your questions on a Computer at a designated exam center.

There will be following sections:

-Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation

-Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning

The duration of examination will be 70 minutes.

You can start your preparation if you are eligible. The top colleges for MBA are IIMs and you can get into them only when you have one of the top scores in CAT.

Common Admission Test or CAT as it is commonly known as is the entry pass to several B-Schools in India including the IIM's and 150 other top management institutes. The CAT exam is held annually every year jointly by the IIM's.

CAT is one of the most competitive MBA Entrance exam. When it comes to studying post graduate and fellow management programmes students prefers this exam over others. Last year over 2 lac students appeared for this exam.

Before 2009 CAT was a pencil and paper test and now its a computer based test and this exam can be given now from various centres. This year four new centres have been added.

The selection process of CAT exam can be broadly classified into three categories:-

A) Computer based Test
B) Group Discussions
C) Personal Interview

To sit for the CAT Exam you must hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. In case of SC/ST/DA categories the percentage to acquire is 45%. Also, this Bachelor's degree must be of duration of at least 3 years post completion of HSC (10 + 2) or equivalent.

For the exam stress on the following areas: Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Problem Solving and Data Interpretation. There is negative marking, which means 1/4th marks will be deducted from the original score for every wrong answer you give. Duration of the exam is 2.5 hours.

There is no age limit when it comes to giving CAT exam and no restriction on the number of permissible attempts as well. So feel free to sit for this exam whenever you are 100% ready.

Please Note:- This year the CAT exam will take place from 16 October to 11th November in over 40 locations. CAT vouchers will be available at selected Axis Bank branches from July 29 to September 24. The registration window will be open from July 29 to September 26.
