Hey friend,

It's quite simple,as you have said that a bank didn't give you Loan for Education,it dosen't mean that you are not going to get Loan at all. There are many banks in India in which you can apply for Education loan and their terms differ according to the banks which you prefer.

The Interest rates will differ from bank to bank and there are many banks which you can prefer and there are certificates which are needed to be submitted in order to verify your identity and records. The things which you need to submit to get a Education loan are:

>> The completed Education Loan Application Form.
>> Your Mark sheets of last qualifying examination
>> Proof of admission scholarship, studentship
>> Schedule of expenses for the specified course
>> 2 passport size photographs
>> Borrower's Bank account statement for the last six months
>> Brief statement of assets and liabilities

If you submit all these the bank will verify and check whether you are trusted to give a Loan and if you are then you can get the loan sanctioned from the Branch Manager.

ALL THE BEST

You have approached the wrong bank. There are many nationalized banks in India - both public as well as private ones who provide education loan easily. Moreover, they advertise and even send agents to get more and more candidates for education loan. Since the bank you approached has said that they do not provide education loan, so you need to approach branches of different banks to get the education loan sanctioned.

You can get your education loan sanctioned from various banks like :-

- State Bank of India
- Bank of India
- Canara Bank
- UTI Bank
- United Bank of India
- Punjab National Bank
- Allahabad Bank
- Axis Bank
- ICICI Bank
- HDFC Bank and many more private banks.

Any nationalized banks provide student loan provided you fulfill all the required terms and conditions. Education loans mainly depend on the worthiness of the borrower. It is completely bank’s discretion to sanction the loan after assessing the credit worthiness. In a way, the bank also checks out the merit of the borrower. You have to appear in the entrance examination and score good marks for securing the loan.
If your course fee is between Rs 4 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh, you need a guarantor who promises to pay the amount in case you fail to pay back the loan. You need documents like passport size photo, income proof/latest income tax return, last 6 months bank account statements during the sanctioning.

This is not necessary that all the banks in your vicinity, can give you an education loan. The bank which you have approached in past for the education loan, may be a service branch of the bank. Service branches have limited rights, So they have denied directly for your loan. Don't upset, go to their main branch, they have full rights to your loan query specially they have a loan chamber separate for these things.
You can apply online for your education loan. The link useful for you are :-
1. SBI online form for education loan
https://www.sbi.co.in/user.htm?action=sbiEdulLoan
2. Axis bank online form for education loan

3. Bank of Baroda online form for education loan

Don't worry if the bank says it can't provide loan then you can apply for it in some other bank.

Just visit some other nearest bank and meet the branch manager and ask the procedure to apply for the loan.
Take the bank loan form ant fill the required details, attach required documents like Address proof, Mark sheet of your previous qualifying exam, 2 passport size photo and other required details.

State Bank of India provide loan at the cheapest rate, I suggest you to visit SBI branch.
Loan will be provide at the rate of around 13%.

If a bank informs you that they do not provide education loans for UPSC exam preparation, there are a few alternative options you can consider:

Explore other banks: Contact other banks in your area and inquire about their education loan schemes. Different banks may have different policies, and you may find one that offers education loans specifically for UPSC exam coaching.

Non-banking financial institutions: There are non-banking financial institutions (NBFCs) that provide education loans as well. Explore options with NBFCs and inquire about their loan schemes for UPSC exam preparation.

Scholarships and grants: Look for scholarships or grants that are specifically designed for UPSC aspirants. Some government organizations, private foundations, and educational institutions offer financial support to deserving candidates preparing for competitive exams. Research and apply for such scholarships to fund your coaching expenses.

Personal savings or family support: Utilize your personal savings or seek financial assistance from your family members to fund your UPSC exam coaching. This may require planning and budgeting to manage your expenses effectively.
