the district eduacation officer is post of group-1 cadre. You need to appear in group-1 to achieve this post. The other way is by promotion in the state education department which takes many years and is sometimes not possible at all

Hello, am completed my post graduation in English subject & now i want to became education offices can i applicable for the post?

Eligibility to become a District Educational Officer

- Candidate should have domicile or nativity of particular state
- Candidate should possess Master degree in Arts/Science stream
- To become DEO must complete B.Ed degree also
- With minimum marks of 50%
- Candidate with all required qualification can apply for the Exam
- UGC conducts exam to select the candidates for the post DEO
- To apply for UGC candidate must be an Indian
