I am studying B.Sc. industrial chemistry and i have decided to passed out gpsc exam but i don't know procedure of gpsc exam please give me detail of gpsc exam from starting and what i should read for the preparation of prelims exam?

GPSC(Gujarat Public Service Commission) exam is conducted to recruit candidates for Gujarat Administrative Service and Civil Services.

Eligibility:
-Candidate should be a graduate from any discipline.
-Age limit is between 21 to 28 years. There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for SC/ST women and 5 years for general women.

Examination Procedure:
Exam will be conducted in 3 phase:
-Preliminary examination
-Main Examination
-Interview

Preparation Tips:
-Be updated with current affairs through news.
-Follow GK books for increasing your general knowledge.
-Practice previous 5 year question papers.
