Civil Services Chemistry Prelims Papers
The Union public Service Commission conducts the Civil services Examination every year for the much coveted posts in the Indian administration like IAS, IFS, and IRS etc. At these posts one gets prestige as well as a chance to indulge in the service of nation. So to be there all one needs to do is to crack the Civil Services Examination, but doing so is not a cakewalk as the Civil Services examination is considered to be one of the most difficult exams of the country. The exam is held in two stages. To go to the final stage which is the main exam, one has to crack the prelims first. Chemistry is one of the subjects you can choose.
Paper Pattern
The Chemistry Preliminary examination consists of 300 marks in total and the time allotted is 3 hours. The number of questions in the exam is 120. All the questions are of equal marks and they are framed to cover the entire syllabus of Chemistry. The questions are all Multiple Choice Questions with single correct answer. Incorrect answers will attract negative marking. The same is the case with multiple answers. The questions are given in two versions- English version and Hindi version.
