Bharathiar University releases Ph.D admission notification every year and you can apply for admission if you have got at least 55% marks in Master's degree from a recognized University. There is relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates.

You have to apply for admission on a prescribed format with all the relevant details and send the application with all the documents which are required. Once the application is received then you will be called for the interview directly if have NET/SLET/JRF qualification. If you don't have NET/SLET/JRF qualification then you have to appear for entrance exam. Performance in these stages will decide the merit for admission.
