I want to know about the AMIE. I did the Diploma in Civil Engineering and now I want to do AMIE. But I am fully aware about AMIE. Is any college in Roorkee offering this course?

# AMIE stands for Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers.


# Few important points regarding AMIE (Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers):

* It is best alternative option for Diploma holders or intermediate students.
* It is considered equivalent to B. Tech.
* Examinations are generally conducted in the month of June and December.
* It is generally conducted by Institute of Engineers


# Required educational qualification:

* Candidate must possessing three year engineering diploma in any branch.
OR
* Candidate have completed intermediate in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 45% marks.
