Yes obiviously it is a better choice.beside jobs you can continue studies.some universities/institutes conducted condence B.E ,evening section.it takes 5 years to complete the B.E course.

For AMIE contact institutes of engineers india,Kolkata.http://www.ieindia.info/

All the best.

Yeah Its a great option

Yeah brother its a great option after diploma. If you didnt get into colleges offering degree after diploma than yeah AMIE is equally a better option. AMIE is a correspondance course which is considered to be equalvant to B.Tech/BE. You dont have to worry for jobs etc as you will get good jobs once you apply for them. You will even be eligible for Postgraduate exams like IAS,CAT.

AMIE is equivalent to B.Tech regular course Yeah you heard it right. AMIE is considered to be equal to BE/B.Tech degree. Government has passed this rule so cheers. You will get equally good jobs as the B.Tech/BE passouts from other colleges

Its a degree in the form of correspondence
You know that its a correspondence course so you must be really discliplined to study. So make a concrete decision

Its tougher than regular course but not that tough
Some say that its tough. But according to me nothing is though is to practice harder. So dont worry about it

Procedure on how to apply for AMIE

For complete details about the procedure you can check out this link.

AMIE is a good institution and choice is also is good. the degree from AMIE is almost equal to regular B.E/B.Tech degree. but it is a correspondence course. so you should first try for regular college.

job opportunity also good after studying from AMIE. so do not worry you may go for it.

definitely friend , it would be better for you to go for AMIE because it is considered very good and degree provided by it is considered equivalent to b.tech.

so after perusing degree, you would be able to apply for job and believe me ,you will get job as well if you are talented.for more help visit this url-http://www.indiastudychannel.com/res...procedure.aspx

good luck

Dear Friend,

Yes, AMIE is a good option after Diploma in Civil Engineering. You can do AMIE.

AMIE is equivalent to B.E.

You can do B.E. also after Diploma in Civil Engineering. You can join B.E. as a transfer course and course duration is 3 Years.

Both AIME & B.E. are equivalent, Choose any one, If you are interested to do AMIE then you can do. you are eligible to do AMIE after Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Good Luck

I Think AMIE is a so good option. But nobody says about it's toughness. It provide a very tough course.I've completed my sec-A and I find it tough. You have to study very systemetically.Questions are brief and always demand your depth and creativity. You have to get atleast 50 out of 100 so you have to study hard. But when you get the success it gonna be a very good feeling for you.Cause you feel yourself a better person and engineer.

Dear friends,

I have done AMIE, I request you not to do AMIE because,

1.AMIE is consider to be correspondence course and TOP MNC will not recognize it.
2.We will not get good score compared to B.E holder (Sice it is ver tough) so we will not get M.Tech in good colleges.
3.Getting pass in first attempt is very difficult, very rare to see such kind of person, not able to do in 4 years.

Instead doing regular courses like BSC is better. This is my experiance

Dear aspirant,

Between AMIE and Btech I would prefer BTech.
Most of the industries prefer BTech graduates over AMIE.
Also AMIE graduates are not allowed for teaching.
Even in IT industries AMIE is not preffered.
Although AMIE is considered equivalent for BTech, in AMIE most of the time you will not get good teachers and so your learning is hampered. Hence go for BTech course.

All the Best.
