i have done bca , can i apply in kendriya vidyalaya or navodaya vidyalaya for primary computer teacher

yes you can.u can apply for the post of computer science. but provided you must have compulsorily done B.Ed or diploma in elementary education from any recognised univrsity/college and then u will be considered eligible for applying in KVS.

can i apply for the post of computer science teacher in KVS. I have done MCA.PLease do reply.

hello friend,

Since you have BCA degree, that is good for computer teacher, but to enter into the KVS,NVS like institutions you should have B.Ed or teacher training certificate is compulsory required.
So, try to earn these.then you can introduce your self in these organization.

Earlier it was possible to apply for the post of computer teacher with just a degree in computer science but now as the competition has increased it is not at all easy to go for the job with just a mere graduation degree in computer science.

OK then the question will arise about the requirement which is necessary to get the job in Kendriya Vidyalaya then the answer is :-

You can get into Kendriya vidyalaya after completing your B,ed degree from any of the reputed or recognized college of the country and if you do that then you will see that you are eligible for the exam of Teacher eligibility test

Teacher eligibility test is the second stage that you have to clear, Once you complete your B.ed then after you can go for the Teacher eligibility test which is also known as CTET exam.

A good marks in CTET exam can only make you eligible for the job in Kendriya vidyalaya as well as in Navodaya vidyalaya

One more thing that i want to tell you is that if you find some posts in your nearby KV which are on Contract then it might be possible that you can go and teach their and you will be paid on per hour basis

The eligibility criteria required for getting job in Kendriya Vidyalaya or Navodaya Vidyalaya are prescribed as below:-

1. For Assistant Job:- * Completion of graduation with 3 yrs experience as UDC.

2. For Principal Job:- * Completion of post-graduation with 45% marks from any recognised university.

* B.Ed or equivalent degree.

* One year experience.

* Good knowledge of Computer.

3. For Finance Officer:- * Completion of graduation from any recognised college or university.

* Three yrs experience.

* Computer knowledge.

4. For LDC:- * Completion of 12th from any recognised board.

* Working knowledge in Hindi.

* Computer knowledge.

* Typing speed in English is 35 wpm and in Hindi is 30 wpm on Computer.

5. For AO:- * Completion of graduation with 3 yrs exaperience.

* Good knowledge of Computer.

6. For UDC:- * Completion of graduation from a recognised university.

* Three yrs experience and good knowledge of Computer applications.

7. For Computer Teacher:- * Completion of post-graduation from any recognised university.

* Good knowledge of Computer applications.

Sir , actually I have completed my BCA , B.ed and M.ScComputer Science.i have also cleared ctet paper 1. Now I want to ask you am i eligible for kvs prt teacher? If yes then in exam 80 marks are evaluated for subject concerned . What will be my subject concerned ? Please help
