SIR, i expext my aieee rank around 40000 and obc rank around 10000-15000
i belong to jharkhand state and i dont knw my state rank
Can i get admission in any good branch of BITS mesra ????

There is no provision of reservation for OBC category candidates in BIT Mesra.
The reservation of seats is applicable for students of SC, ST and PH category students only
apart from the 50% seats reserved for Home State category.

Therefore, you will not have any privilege of OBC category as far as admission in BIT Mesra
is concerned.

If you go through the opening and closing ranks of previous years then you will get
that with an AIR 40000 it is almost impossible to get admission in BIT Mesra in any
branch.

You might get a seat in an NIT of your Home State.

Apart from NITs there are many more central/state/self financed institutions
participating in AIEEE counseling.
You could get admission in a good branch in one of those institutions if you do not get an NIT.

In some colleges, one has also to apply separately even after appearing for AIEEE like Thapar Institute. What are the other such colleges, which require separate application?

and sir i have also qualified for iit and will get admision into ism(any branch of my choice)..
