Dear friend,

There are two question papers of AFCAT.

Paper 1. (Multiple type)

Consist of maths, Science, GK and Current affairs.

Note: (go through old history questions also)

Paper 2: (Descriptive type)

Consist of English grammar, letter writing and essay.

Note; No doubt there is negative marking in paper 1. For 4 wrong
answers 1 mark is being deducted.

You can not get the previous year question paper at all because IAF does not allow this.

AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Exam Papers

Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer
You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.(More Details See the Notification)

Previous year Papers are not available on net so It is better to go with syllabus and recommended books.

Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions.

For preparations:- Books you should refer
R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Composition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS.

Note:- Last date to fill AFCAT form was 22nd February, AND exam Date is on 27 March 2011(Sunday).

The Air Force CAT exam which is going to be held on 27 Mrch 2011
is based on the following topics:
(a) General Awareness

(b) Verbal Ability in English

(c) Numerical Ability

(d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test

You have to study the above topics for the AFCAT exam. I have attached
the sample paper of AFCAT with this forum along with syllabus.

I have received it today (21 march) hope you will also get it in one or two days.

even i hav not received my admit card yet....what shud i do...???

Can I get the question paper of the AFCAT exam held in March ? I'll be very thankful..

Do we need 60% at graduation level even if we have masters degree...... at applied through that education mark.

decimal fractions , simplifications , ratio n proportion ,average , profit n loss , percentage , simple intrest.......
so does odr topics include in this or nt....

Hello Can anyone tell me, what is the pattern of the exam, like I am applying for both technical as well as flying branch so would there be Engg. Questions as well as above four mentioned topics like GK etc.
