Is it beneficial to study MBA instead of MS in Abroad for a BTech Mechanical student?

I am studying Mechanical Engineering in BTech. I want to do MS but many of my friends are telling me that it’s too expensive if I study in Abroad. They are suggesting that I do an MBA in Abroad instead of an MS. So, I just want to know that doing an MBA apart from MS is good and valuable and gives me more benefits if I study in Abroad?
