You can attempt 2 times for IIT and 3 times for AIEEE.
eligibility criteria for IIT -
for general and OBC 60% in +2 and for SC/ST/PH 55%
eligibility criteria for AIEEE -
50% for general and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH......

Dear Friend,

A candidate can appear in the IIT JEE examination maximum two times in two consecutive years.

All the IIT colleges are government colleges and all are the best.You can choose any of the college for your study.The colleges are situated at-
IIT Kharagpore
IIT Delhi
IIT Mumbai
IIT Kanpur
IIT Chennai
IIT Guwahati etc.

To appear in the IIT JEE examination a candidate should has passed class 12th with 60% marks and the subject combination Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.

To appear in the AIEEE examination a candidate should has passed class 12th with at least 50% marks.

A class 12th final examination appearing candidate can also apply for the IITJEE and the AIEEE examination.

How many times a person can gives net exams.

For the preperation of IIT JEE you should have to do a lot of hard work. You have to make your time-table so that you can give time for your school studies as well as for your IIT preperatioon.
You can join the coaching classes for the weekend . Study material will be provided by the institutes itself.
But if you don't want to join the coaching institute , you have to clear your concepts from the 11th standard and must read the full books of the PRADEEP'S for physics and chemistry and must complete your R.D.SHARMA for the mathematics.
