I am a Diploma Holder in communication Engineering and completed 15 years service in Indian Air Force. Now, I am working in Indian Railways as a Senior Section Engineer for which B.Tech Degree holder are eligible. Can I appear in GRE or TOEFL or IELTS for studying in same field.

GRE and TOEFL or IELTS examinations are taken by candidates who are interested to pursue higher studies in Abroad Universities. If you are interested to pursue your higher studies in Abroad Universities then, you need to appear in GRE and TOEFL or IELTS examinations. If you are interested to pursue your higher studies in India then, you need to appear in lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state entrance examination board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based on your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years B.Tech degree course.

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination.

There are no specific eligibility criteria for GRE Test. This examination is open for all candidates who are willing to pursue higher degree in abroad.

TOEFL stands for Test Of English as a Foreign Language.

There is no any eligibility criteria. TOEFL exam is used to test the ability of a candidate in Reading, writing, Listening and Speaking sections of English language.

IELTS Stands for International English Language Testing System.

There are no specific eligibility criteria for IELTS Test. This examination is open for all candidates who are willing to pursue higher degree in abroad.

Yes, you can definitely apply for GRE along with TOEFL or IELTS to pursue higher studies. There is no problem in appearing for these exams as there is no specific eligibility criteria for these exams. There is no age limit or education barrier. However, the universities which accept these scores will have their own eligibility criteria which you need to fulfill and apply accordingly.
