Entry Requirements

Graduation in the area of Biological or Agricultural Sciences is the basic educational qualification required for this course. Apart from this, candidates who are not residing in English speaking countries will have to clear exams such as IELTS/ TOEFL. Each University insist a minimum score as cut off for students to apply.

Entry requirements for colleges in United States of America

Candidates who have completed graduation in areas such as biological or agricultural sciences are eligible to join these institutes for MS in Plant Breeding. Their graduate level courses should include subjects such as Mathematics (differential and integral calculus), Physics (light and electricity), Chemistry (organic chemistry with lab) and biology.  International candidates seeking admission to Universities in United States of America need to have minimum TOEFL score of 550 in paper based test. Apart from this, they should secure at least a score of 79 in internet based test. Universities generally consider IELTS score of 6.5 for admission process.

Entry requirements for colleges in Malaysia

Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of first class marks are eligible to apply. Final year students can also apply for this course. Candidates who have industrial experience with other qualification are also eligible for admission. A pass in TOEFL with a minimum of 550 or IELTS with 6 is the entry requirement for international students.

Entry requirements for colleges in New Zealand

Candidates are required to have three year graduation in relevant subjects with a minimum of upper second class marks. Students who are non residents of English speaking countries must score 6.5 in English Language, and a good score in essay writing.
