There is no MD/MS offered after MBBS in Germany. Instead, a SPECIALIST training position is offered to doctors, in various streams. The duration is 5–6 years depending on the stream.
SPECIALIST training happens in Hospitals(Public, Private or teaching) monitored and regulated by the Provincial Medical Association. The doctors undergoing SPECIALIST training are employed by these hospitals in the post of “Assistant Doctor”.

Given are the requirements to apply for MD in Germany:

1. You need a very good knowledge of German, which you’ll need to prove with a strong score in a test such as the TestDaF or the DSH.

2. Strong knowledge of English, in order to understand specialist literature. It’s also helpful but not essential to have knowledge of Latin.

3. Non-EU students may require a student visa and residence permit.

Eligibility Criteria For Applying For MD In Germany :-

*Students must have completed MBBS from India or some other country.

*Students must have an NMC/MCI registraton certificate.

*Proper flow in German language at least upto B2 level in German Language.
