i want to know that what is the purpose of sat examintion for further studies???? please let me know immediately i m looking to give sat but dont know the clear details please help me |

SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test for admission into various undergraduate courses in US. Those who want to take admission in US after 12th class, must apply for this test because it is the standard score that is accepted by most US universities for giving admission into various undergraduate courses.
This examination is conducted six times in a year and students all over the world can appear for it at SAT test centers. Students can register for SAT during their 10+2 studies and this exam can be taken in the month of October, November, December, January, March, May and June. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is taken by students who are willing to do Undergraduate course in USA. Based on the score, students can apply for admission in colleges of USA.
Students who have completed class 12th are eligible for taking SAT Examination Pattern: It is conducted in two papers. • SAT Reasoning paper • SAT Subject wise paper SAT Reasoning Paper: It will last for 3 hours and 45 minutes and consists of 3 sections. • Mathematics • Reading and • Writing Each of them has 10 sections and one equating section. Equating section has questions to assess for future use. They may come from any of the three subjects. There are 5-answer multiple choice questions except one essay question and 10 questions out of 54 Mathematics questions. Each section has the maximum score of 800 and in total for 3 sections, it comes to 2400 marks. SAT Subject wise Paper: It includes subjects like, • Literature • History • Physics • Chemistry • Biology • Mathematics It is of one hour and all are Multiple Choice Questions. Student can take up to 3 subject wise papers on a single day, but not reasoning and subject wise papers on the same day. |
