General Surgeon, General Physician, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation



Employees’ State Insurance Corporation was incorporated under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The corporation was actually founded by the Central Government of India. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to have a responsible body for protecting the interest and benefits of the workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc. All such problems of the workers results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The corporation is also responsible or infact hold the responsibility of administrating the ESI scheme.

Job Profile:

Qualified and eligible candidates are been proposed by Employees’ State Insurance Corporation to apply on the various posts of Part Time Specialist such as General SUregon, General Physician, Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedic, Radiolosit and Paediatric. The recruitment is to be made on contract basis for a period of one year at ESI Hospital Panipat, Bhiwani and Jagadhari.


Candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit set for the post i.e. 62 years as on 31 December 2010. Candidates having age more than 62 years are not eligible for the respective posts in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. Applications made from uneligible candidates will not be considered by the corporation in any case.

Educational Qualification:

Post Graduate degree in the concerned speciality from a recognized university is the minimum educational qualification set for the posts. Also 3 years of experience is required to be attain by the candidates after acquiring the post Graduate Degree. Candidates having Post Graduate Diploma as their educational qualification can also apply but theyr should also have an experience of atleast 5 years in the respective field.

Pay Scale: The salary will be given to the selected candidates only as per the recommendations of the 6th CPC as adopted in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation or hospitals.

Application Fee:

The application fee of Rs. 300 is need to be paid by all the interested candidates. The fee will be accepted through the means of a Demand Draft only. Candidates should bring this Demand Draft of Rs. 300 at the time of the Walk-In-Interview on the prescriobed date.

Selection Process:

A personal interview test will be held on 5 February 2011 from 11:30 onwards. Candidate’s performance in this personal interview test will decide about his/her selection on the respective posts in the different hospitals of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. No seperate test of candidates is to be taken by the corporation.

How to apply: Eligible and desirous candidates should appear for a Walk-In-Interview with their application alongwith original certificates and one set of attested photocopy of the relevant documents in support of age, qualification, markesheets, category etc. Candidates should also bring two self attested recent passport size photographs at the address:
