The Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd was established in the year 1920. In the year 1956, the  Indora Banking Union combined with the second branch of the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd located at Nurpur.

In the year 1957, the 3rd Branch of the Bank located at Palampur was combined with Palampur Banking Union. In the year 1958, 4th Branch of the Bank located at Hamirpur combined with Nanaon Banking Union. The Government provided Interest Free Relief Loan and Govt of India Loan to the bank when it suffered losses in the year 1947.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 45 years.

Educational Qualification and post qualification experience – The candidates must have Graduation or equivalent with 55% marks or commerce graduate with 50% marks from a recognized university. They must have computer knowledge.
