Indo Tibetan Border Police Force was incorporated as a multi dimensional force in the year 1962. ITBP is an Indian paramilitary force which is resoponsible for the security along the country’s border with the Tobet Autonomous Region of China. Initially, the force started off with just four sanctioned battalions. The force was restructued in the year 1978 and the tasks of the force were redefined. Mr. Ranjit Kumar Bhatia is the Director General of ITBP. Checking illegal immigration and smuggling are two of the major functions performed by Indo Tibetan Border Police Force.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited for filling up the positions of Head-Constable Combatised Ministerial in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the speciifed position. Candidates should meet with all the eligibility criteria or conditions set for the post of Head-Constable Combatised Ministerial. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have age between 18 to 25 years. The cut off date for determining the maximum age limit is 14 July 2011. The upper age limit for the specified positions is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST categories candidates and by 3 years for OBC category candidates. Relaxation of few years in the upper age limit will also be provided to the Ex-Serviceman candidates.

Physical Standard:

Candidates are required to have atleast 165 cms height with weight proportionate to the height.
The minimum standard for Chest is 77 cms (unexpanded) and 82 cms (expanded).

Candidates should also have good eye sight probably 6/6/ and 6/9 of both eyes with correction.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Secondary Certificate from any recognized board or equivalent is required for applying for the post of Head-Constable Combatised Ministerial in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. Candidates should also have typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi only on computer. However, preference will be given to the candidates, who possess higher qualification.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Interested candidates should submit an application fee of Rs. 50 only in the form of a Central Recruitment Fee STamp/IPO or Bank Draft. No fee is need to be submitted by SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman candidates.
