Head Constable (Telecommunication) - Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP)
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) was established on 24 Oct, 1962. The ITBP is involved on Border Guarding Duties. The force, besides guarding the border, is heavily engaged in fighting terrorism in the State of Jammu & Kashmir, where the force showed its exemplary gallantry and nerve. ITBP has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.
Job Profile:
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Head Constable (Telecommunication).
No. of posts: 609
Pay Scale – Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade pay of Rs. 2400 per month
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational qualification – The candidates must have passed in 10+2 (in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics subjects) with at least 45% marks, or passed 10th class with two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in one of the disciplines of Electrical, Electronics or Computer, or passed 10th class with three years Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical. Selection Process:
The selection for the post is done through recruitment test which includes height bar test, race, checking of documents, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Objective type written examination, interview, merit list, and detailed medical examination (DME).

There is no fee for SC/ ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
