Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force was founded or established on October 24, 1962. The force is considered as the Indian Paramilitary Force which is responsible for the security along the borders of India with Tibet Autonomous Region of China, border. The force was re structured in the year 1978. The force is mainly trained in mountaneering, Diaster Management and Chemical Disasters etc. The force is actually a multi dimensional force with the main aim of checking illegal immigration and trans border smuggling. At present, Mr. Ranjit Kumar Bhatia is the Director General of the force.

Job Profile:

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force is looking forward to recruit eligible candidates on the following vacant positions of Assistant Sub Inspector and Head Constable (Midwife). The posts of Assistant Sub Inspector are available in the disciplines of Pharmacist and Laboratory Technician. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the following posts:

1. Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist):
No. of posts: Only 34 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 to 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and biology as mainly subjects. Candidates should have passed atleast Diploma in Pharmacy from any central or state government institution.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Laboratory Technician):
No. of posts: Only 19 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 to 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and biology as mainly subjects. Candidates should have passed atleast Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from any central or state government institution.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

3. Recruitment of Head Constable (Midwife):
No. of posts: Only 34 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Matriculation Examination from a recognized board. Candidates should have passed Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery course from a recognized institution.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Application Fee:

Candidates (only General and OBC candidates) are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 50 only. No fee is to be submitted by candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. The application fee must be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft only. THe bank draft should be drawn in favour of the designated post as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

Selection Process:

Selection Process for all the above mentioned posts is comprises of two different stages:
i. Competitive Written Examination, and
ii. Personal Interview Test/ Physical Test.

The envelope should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for.
