Fashion Designing Entrance Exam Pattern

The test generally includes two sections – the General ability test and Creative ability test. The objective type questions are to be answered. The candidates have to pick out the right answers from the multiple choices provided for each. Each right answer is awarded with 1 mark and 0.25 marks is reduced for each wrong answer.

The GAT comprises of questions from different topics such as quantitative aptitude, English comprehension, Communication ability, Analytical ability and Business domain test. The business domain test is only for the Bachelors programme in Design. The CAT includes questions to test the candidate’s design ability, power of observation and skills. The choice of colors for illustrations also evaluates the candidate’s creative ability.
