Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Authority was established under the Government of India with the aim of providing SSN program. The major objective of the authority behind providing SSN program is to wide spread the basic education by following community-ownership of the school education system. The authority was founded as a result of demand for the quality education at the elementary level all over the country. It provides the oppurtunity for improving the human capabilities to all children.

Job Profile:

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Authority invites applications on the post of Inclusive Education Resource Teachers (IERTs). Selected candidates will have to teach children with special needs in the state of Punjab.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 1 November 2010.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to be atleast a graduate for applying for the specified post. Application from the candidates with less qualification will be discarded straightaway.

No. of posts: Total 239 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 10000. Candidates will also get an additional amount of Rs. 1000 as TA.

General category candidates are required to pay Rs. 250 as application fee while Rs. 125 is the application fee required from SC candidates. The application fee must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of State Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan Authority, Punja payable at Chandigarh.
