Krishna Murthy Institute of Technology & Engineering was set up in the year 2007. The institute is located in Rangareddy district of the Andhra Pradesh State. The institute is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The undergraduate courses available in the college are B. Tech (Civil Engineering), B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) and B. Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering).

The post graduate courses available in the college are MBA and MCA.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed in intermediate examination or 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, are eligible to apply the B. Tech courses. The candidates with diploma qualification in relevant field can apply for lateral entry in B. Tech course. They must get qualified in the EAMCET common entrance test conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh, in order to get admission for the B. Tech course in the college.

The candidates, who have passes graduation in any stream, are eligible to apply for MBA course. The candidates, who have passed a graduate degree in mathematics, are eligible to apply for the MCA course. They must get qualified in the ICET exam in order to get admission for the MBA and MCA courses in the college.
