Krishnath College shortly called as KN College, came into existence in the year 1853 and the college earned permanent affiliation from the University of Kalyani in the year 1902. It is an aided institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Admission Procedure:
Admission will be done serially from the merit list prepared by the college through counseling. The time and date of counseling will be notified to the shortlisted candidates, there will also be a second counseling if required, and the date of second counseling will be announced during the first counseling. The tentative date of counseling would be just prior or before the last date of admission prescribed by the University of Kalyani.
How to apply:
For admission to the college, candidates will have to submit separate application forms for each subject they wish to apply along with DD for an amount of Rs.50 drawn in favor of the Principal, K.N. College payable at State Bank of India, Berhampore towards cost of application within the last date prescribed by the college. Once the applications are received, the concerned departments or the admission board will prepare a merit list of selected candidates, which will be displayed in the notice board of the college.
