The LCR College of Engineering and Technology is situated in Thiruvallur in Tamil Nadu. It is approved by the AICTE. The LCR College of Engineering and Technology is affliated to the prestigious Anna University.

Campus

The campus of the college is situated such that there are no problems regarding the transportation and other things. The campus is spread over a huge area of about 26 hectares. The library of the college is one that has as many as 10000 books and there are additional journals and other international and national magazines that have been subscribed. The laboratories are all air conditioned and the classrooms are such that it gives the students maximum exposure. The seminar halls and the conference rooms are all up to the standard. There is internet in the campus giving the students facility to study at any place.

Courses Offered

The college offers various courses like the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering, B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.E in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and also the college offers a Bachelors of Technology certificate course in Information Technology.

Admission Procedure

The admission procedure of the college is almost same as that of any other engineering college in Tamil Nadu. The admission of the students is done on the basis of merit obtained in the States Entrance Examination conducted for the engineering colleges of the state.

The placement cell of the engineering college is headed by a group of well knowledgeable people. The companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many other MNC’s and state based companies visit the camps to recruit students form the college.
