M.A. in Hindi, Hindi M.A.
Hindi is the National language of our motherland India. It is also our mother-tongue. We know that in order to master any language, we must study the language in details; its grammar, pronunciation etc. Same is the case with Hindi. Hindi is generally studied as the second language subject in Indian universities and colleges after English. Hindi is a tough language to master although most of us would be able to speak it fluently. M.A. in Hindi is a master’s degree course offering extensive and detailed knowledge of the language of Hindi. The course also includes a study of English, but in this case, as a second subject. M.A. in Hindi is one of those non-commercial courses which is fast losing its popularity among students and rather getting extinct.
Eligibility Criteria
To pursue M.A. in Hindi, candidates must at least be graduates in any Discipline, provided their degree is a valid one. Moreover, most Universities and colleges during selecting students for this course look to test the applicant’s knowledge in English and Hindi respectively. They even conduct entrance tests for this purpose.
Course Outlook
The aforementioned course is generally of two years in duration. At the end of each year an exam is conducted by the colleges and Universities.
Job Prospects
To be frank, the job prospects after completing the course of M.A. in Hindi are not stupendous in nature. Moreover, they also lack variety. This is probably the best reason when it was earlier stated that the course is fast becoming extinct. People, generally after passing out from this course, tend to get in the shoes of professors and lecturers in colleges or universities.
