Company profile: It was established in the year 1964. It is a premier organization in charge of food security in India. Its main functions are to provide price support to the farmers, distribute the food grains all over the country for public consumption and maintaining sufficient level of operational and buffer stocks. 

Job profile: The management trainees will be initially learning the operations of their respective department viz. accounts and general. They will be consumed as managers after the training and will be required to manage the activities and employees under them.

Educational Qualifications:

For general department – A candidate must have a post graduate degree/diploma in management or business management or mass communications or public relations or journalism or IT or industrial relations from a recognized university or an institute.

For accounts department – A candidate must be a CA/ AICWA/ ACWA/ MBA (finance) from a recognized university or an institute.

No. of posts: There are 2 posts for management trainees in general department and 5 posts in accounts department. All the posts are reserved for SC candidates.

Pay scale: The candidates will get a stipend of Rs8500 during the training and after the training they will get a pay scale of Rs16400-40500 plus allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for a written test followed by a GD and an interview.
