Mar Gregorios College of Arts and Science is a Christian Minority institution and the college is run by the Malankara Catholic Trust, which runs several schools, engineering college, dental colleges and medical college all over India right from the year 1930. The college came into existence in the year 1997 and the college is located at a distance of just 20 minutes drive from the popular cities in Chennai being KK Nagar, Arumbakkam, Anna Nagar, Ambattur and Purasaiwakkam.

Of these courses, two PG courses and B. Sc Mathematics & Electronics & Communication are offered in Shift I, BBA, and BBM courses are offered in Shift II. All other courses are offered by the college both in day and evening shift.

Choice Based Credit and Semester System:

Mar Gregorios Arts and Science College follows choice based credit system of assessment under semester pattern. The college offer internship and soft skills programme for PG students. All students of UG courses will have to enroll for sport and games/NSS/NCC compulsorily and they will be put in a minimum of 40 hours of extension service. In addition, students are also offered with environment studies course during the 3rd and 4th semester of their course.

How to apply:

Application for admission to Mar Gregorios Arts and Science College will have to made in prescribed format that can be obtained from the college office or even from the website of the college at http://www.margregorioscollege.net/download.php. Cost of application is Rs.150 for UG courses and Rs.200 for PG courses and candidates will have to clearly specify the course for which they apply when getting the application form since different forms are available for B. Sc, B. Com and PG courses.

Admission Procedure:

Provisionally selected candidates will be communicated about their selection and these candidates will have to present themselves along with their parent for interview with the principal on the date specified in the intimation card. If a candidate fails to appear before the principal on the specified date and time, his/her provisionally selection will be automatically cancelled.
