Director Health Services (SI) works under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. The department offers extensive service in preventing and curing health problems in order to improve health quality of the people in the state of Punjab. The department offers quality health Services at an affordable cost through a wide network of health Institutions. The network includes Primary Health Centres, hospitals, Dispensaries, Community Health Centres, and Subsidiary Health Centres.

Job Profile:

Punjab National Rural Health Mission calls for application from eligible candidates for the post of Medical Officers in Director Health Services (SI).

No. of posts: Total number of posts is 124, which is divided as follows: Medical Officer (Specialists) - 30 (Radiology -4, Gynaecology -5, Eye - 3, Ortho -6, Medicine - 6, E.N.T - 3, Pathology - 3); Medical Officer – 64

Pay Scale –  Medical Officer (Specialists) - consolidated pay of Rs. 45000 per month; Medical Officer - Consolidated pay of Rs.38000 per month.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 37 yrs.

Educational qualification – The candidates must have specific educational qualification as prescribed by the rules of Punjab government. Pass in Punjabi language at Matric level is compulsory.
