The Department of Health & Family Welfare was established with an aim to provide extensive health care services to the population in Punjab State. The department provides curative, preventive and promotive health services through Director Health Services using a good network of medical institutions. The department conducts National and State Health Programmes and hospital services to satisfy the health care needs of the State.

Job Profile:

Punjab National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) invites application from eligible candidates for the posts of Laboratory Technicians, O.T Technicians, ECG Technicians, Plaster Technicians and Dental Mechanic in Director Health Services (SI).

No. of posts: Total number of technician posts is 24, which is divided as the following technicians: Laboratory Technician - 9; O.T Technician - 3; ECG Technician - 2, Plaster Technician - 7; Dental Mechanic - 3

Pay Scale – Consolidated salary of Rs. 8000 per month

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 37 yrs.

Educational qualification – The candidates must be qualified with specific educational qualification as stipulated by the rules of Punjab government. The candidates must have compulsorily passed in Punjabi language at Matric level.
