Punjab National Rural Health Mission came into existence under the Government of Punjab and Government of India. Providing medical facilities to the people of Punjab is one of the primary objective of the health mission. The another major objective of the mission is to provide information to the people of punjab related to the health issues. Providing necessary health education in the state of Punjab is one of the prime function of the Punjab National Rural Health Mission.

Job Profile:

Punjab National Rural Health Mission is inviting online applications from well qualified candidates on the posts of Staff Nurse and ANM. Punjab National Rural Health Mission is going to recruit the candidates on contract basis only.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be between 18 to 37 years of age for the post of Staff Nurse while candidates, who are willing to apply on the post fo ANM, are required to be in between 18 to 45 years of age. Candidates must fulfill this eligibility criteria of age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have some experience in the relevant field alongwith the prescribed educational qualification for both the posts i.e. Staff Nurse and ANM in Punjab National Rural Health Mission. Infact, experience is must for the post of Staff Nurse.

No. of posts:

Staff Nurse: Total 134 posts are available.
ANM: Total 437 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Staff Nurse: Candidates will get Rs. 8500 per month as salary alongwith the staying allowance of Rs. 1500 at CHCs. However, an amount of Rs. 7500 per month alongwith Rs. 1000 as staying allowance will be given to the selected candidates at PHCs.
ANM: A consolidated amount of Rs. 6900 per month will be gievn to the selected candidates.

Application Fee:

Demand Draft of Rs. 300 is need to be sent by the General candidates as application fee. While Demand Draft of Rs. 150 is need to be sent by the reserved category candidates. The Demand Draft should be made in favour of State Health Society, Punjab and its should be payable at Chandigarh only.

How to apply: Apply online at CDAC website before the last date i.e. 22 December 2010. Candidates should take out two printouts of the filled in application form and registration slip. One of the printout is need to be sent alongwith a self attested photograph and demand draft to the prescribed address on or before 26 December 2010.
