Punjab National Rural Health Mission came into existence under the Government of Punjab and Government of India. Providing medical facilities to the people of Punjab is one of the primary objective of the health mission. The another major objective of the mission is to provide information to the people of punjab related to the health issues. Providing necessary health education in the state of Punjab is one of the prime function of the Punjab National Rural Health Mission. The mission also aims to revitalize the local health traditions and mainstream AYUSH into public health system.

Job Profile:

Punjab National Rural Health Mission is inviting online applications from eligible Indian individuals for filling up the following vacant positions of Pediatrician, General Duty Medical Officer, Nursing Supervisor and Staff Nurses. Candidates will be recruited on contract basis only. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility before applying for the desired position.

1. Recruitment of Pediatrician:
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 65 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Pediatrics is required for the post. However, preference will be given to the candidatesm, who have worked as Neonatology in NICU.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 40000 per month.

2. Recruitment of General Duty Medical Officer:
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 45 years.
Educational Qualification: MBBS Degree is required for the post with PMC/IMCL. However, preference will be given to the candidatesm, who have worked as House Physician in Pediatrics/NICU.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 30000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Nursing Supervisor:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 37 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Degree in Nursing from a recognized institute (Registered with Punjab Nurses Registration Council). However, preference will be given to the candidatesm, who have worked Neonatologist ward.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000 per month.

4. Recruitment of Staff Nurses:
No. of posts: Only 32 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 37 years.
Educational Qualification: B.sc. Degree in Nursing is required for the post from a recognized institution (Registered with Punjab Nurses Registration Council).
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10000 per month.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates on any of the above specified positions will be made only through the conduct of a personal interview test with the selection committee.
