Mody Institute of Technology and Science conducts entrance exams every year for the admittance of candidates to its various courses. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the entrance exam. Those clearing it will be admitted to the institute.

Structure of Mody Institute of Technology and Science M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering Entrance Exam

The Entrance Exam will be of objective type pattern. There will be a total of 50 questions which have to be answered within 60 minutes. The questions asked will be of graduate level. There will not be any negative marking for the wrong answers so the candidates can attend all the questions even those which they are not sure about.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed their B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in allied fields of Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to apply for the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

How to Apply?

The candidates can obtain the application set through post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 600/- which is drawn in favor of MITS-FET. The DD should be payable at Lakshmangarh or Sikar. Also the candidate must send the complete postal address to the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Mody Institute of Technology and Science, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan - 332311. Prospectus and Application Form can also be obtained from FET, MITS- Lakshmangarh Office in person by cash payment of Rs. 600/-.One can also apply for the entrance exam online. There is yet another provision to download the application form from the official website of the institute. The completed application form along with the requisite enclosures have to be sent to Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Mody Institute of Technology and Science, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan - 332311, India before the due date.

Study Plan

The candidates have to prepare well for clearing the entrance exam. One should have a good idea regarding the complete syllabus of the exam. The preparations have to be started atleast 2 – 3 months before the entrance exam date. One of the crucial things the candidates have to take care is about the study materials. Collect as many resources as possible. Also make sure that there is atleast a book covering each topic in the syllabus. With a complete plan of syllabus in mind, set up a timetable allotting time of every topic based on its difficulty levels. The difficult and more important topics have to be allotted with more time. Complete the preparation atleast 2 – 3 days before the exam. This will sufficient time to revise the topics once studied.
